Comments / Messages following Update on J4S
SteffieI have read your update with tears in my eyes. I am so proud of all you have achieved in the fight for Justice for Simon.
If it had not been for you I know I would not have heard about Simon's case and campaign all those years ago. You were relentless and just kept going. You remind me of myself:)
I know only too well how hard running a campaign is and what it costs emotionally and physically to fight for so long.
I hope many people turn up to the court of appeal to see Simon freed. I hope too that Simon will show you appreciation for all you have done in this lonely and hard fight for truth and justice.
Take care girl. You did great and so many of us are so very proud of you. You are a true fighter and campaigner for truth and justice!!
Love and hugs

Steph
I just want to congratulate you on your tenacity and stamina in staying with this – even though things got really tough for you personally you never gave up on Simon or his fight for justice and to that end both he and his new wife should be eternally grateful to you and to those who fought from day one so they may plan a future together. I have seen the affect that the pressures, stresses and frustrations of continually fighting a system that doesn’t want to admit it is flawed has taken on people and you are no exception. I have seen you when you have been elated with every small notch gained in the case and recently I have seen you devastated by the treatment you have received yet your belief in this case and this cause was so strong you never fully gave up – fighting not only the system but a personal battle for justice – what about justice for Stephanie? You deserve every accolade going for remaining true to your cause and I pray that when Simon is released (as he surely will be) that after a period of adjustment he will come to realise those he owes the most and you for sure SHOULD BE AT THE TOP OF HIS LIST. I know you are not seeking praise but I believe you are owed recognition for getting the case to where it is. I hope those that will enjoy the benefits of that will be humble enough to thank you for your massive part in that.
You are an amazing woman Stephanie Bon and I am proud to call you a friend
Lee xx

Hi Steffie
I am really truly and deeply saddened after reading your update and seeing what is happening to you.
Simon Hall needs his head looked at for what is happening to you now, Surely he and his new wife could work alongside you ?
As a Miscarriage of justice fighting for 28 years I can honestly say I wish I had you campaigning for me in 1982 (I am sure I would have had justice by now)
You are an inspiration to us all and without your tenacity and fight I am sure Simon Hall would not be getting this fresh appeal.
Please be assured you are supported from Scotland and make sure you attend this appeal which after all you have fought all these years for, no-one has the right to deny you this.
Without you and other campaigners in Scotland pointing out your site to me I would never have heard of Simon Hall’s case, Keep up the great work.
I hope Simon Hall realises the support he has gained through your hard fight and comes to his senses and acknowledges the hard work you have done all these years.
Do not let others come in at the last minute and spoil your glory and steal your work.
How would it look for Simon Hall in the press fighting against you after all these years?
Do they deserve you, I think not.
Very Best Wishes
Wullie Beck
